Just went through it for the first time in months and it enticed me to take it on again but perhaps in a different format... I don't know...

I had the honor of working with a dear and brilliant woman at the DA's office. Today, we lost her to cancer.

I had the priviledge of calling her my friend. She always treated me with love and respect. She always complimented my talent and work ethic. Never did she regard me as anyone less than her. She treated me as her equal. Always...

It is a sad day today. But she lived an illustrative career and blessed life. I will miss you Midge. I will miss your laugh and wonderful sense of humor. It won't be the same without you.

Yeah, it's raining alright!

Trees are falling on houses and people...
People are standed in their cars and need to be rescued...
And some are losing their homes altogether, however, building this close to the coast is always risky... so yeah, we are having some rain. But the wild fires have stripped the land and it is soaking into the soil and causing mudslides. And you can trace that back to one individual in a park being careless or maybe even malicious... so... yeah, we are having some rain. I got that!
