Fantastic! Hard to believe, but you've only improved! Awesome. Thanks for posting these. I'm a huge fan for always. The warm air has obviously contributed to greater creative expression. You rock!

Tornado... yes, I still have it. I don't think I will ever part with that one. That one is my baby. I will post soon. Thanks Barb.

How big are these, um, Savannah? And medium would be helpful, too. (I'm kind of a nerd about that sort of stuff...)

I like Tornado a lot. (I'd do a trade for that one..) I also like the frontispiece(?) for your blog.

I always admired your sense of color back in college, Rox. You used "pretty colors" without seeming decorative. (At least that's what my addled middle-aged mind remembers.) But, you asked for my honest opinion. Perhaps you're using too many colors now, IMO. Maybe you should limit your palette. It's worked for me--and a lot of painter friends of mine.

Just one dudes opinion.

I am happy to hear from you, though. Really.

Are you serious... I would be honored to trade..
I am so starved for art talk I ache. Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. And I so take a stand for YOU. You are honoring your art. You stayed the course. You did not compromise. I admire that.
Do you rep yourself or do you have a dealer. I will promote you out here as much as I can. You have great work!!

Your artwork is beautiful Roxanne...
I cant wait to take the tour personally!

I envy your talent and cant wait to hear the stories behind the inspirations. :)

Roxanne Grooms said...

The stories... you said stories... ;o)
I guess they are good for something huh?

Sure, we will do that.

I have some new energy and inspiration heading into 2009. It will be interesting to see what happens at the intersection of Me and Wisdom. Now, if I can figure out a way to go to work and be a poser for 8 and then come home and do the creative process with hopes of chosing one over the other. How's that for possibility... Life is too short. Too short... go out there and strip that varnish off your window sill Rana. And LISTEN.
